Beverley Town came so close to causing a major cup upset against Campion, a team top of the league above us. But in the end it was sadly not to be.
The fact that we took Campion all the way though shows the tremendous progress we continue to make as a club. Leading 2-1 after Alex Knaggs scored in the 71st minute, Campion had to rely on a late late equaliser in the 90th minute to take it to extra time and penalties.
A hard fought performance that the lads can be proud of. And a big shout out to the fans that came along to support the team in such atrocious conditions. Thank you!
