A difficult first half for The Beavers saw us concede 3 goals by the 31st minute, which meant that we had a proverbial mountain to climb in the 2nd half if we were to progress to the 2nd Round of this season's FA Vase.
As it was, a much improved second half performance saw us get 1 goal back when McCauley Snelgrove netted after 70 minutes, as well as being tighter defensively which kept Abbey Hey from adding to their score.
But despite a few chances, unfortunately we couldn't find that 2nd goal to give us a chance of getting level, and this year's great run in the FA Vase came to an end.
