The points were shared at Norwood against Rossington Main in this very even of contests. Chances were hard to come by for both sides, particularly in the first half which ended goalless.
The goals came in quick succession in the space of 3 second half minutes. Rossington took the lead in the 57th minute with a deft flick that caught everyone out. But The Beavers weren't behind for long as we pressed hard to get back into the game quickly, with Eddy Birch firing us level in the 60th minute.
It could have been even better and we could have come away with all 3 points when the ref awarded us a penalty 10 minutes from the end. But an impressive save from the Rossington keeper kept it out and the game ended all square.
A point was enough to see us climb a couple more places in the league, now up to an exciting 7th!
