The Beavers earned a hard fought point in our top of the table clash with 2nd placed Silsden AFC. There was controversy in the first half as new (re-)signing Tom Algar was sent off and manager Dave Ricardo was also cautioned, meaning we had to play 70 minutes with 10 men.
But we stayed firmly resolute and went into the half time break all square at 0-0. And it got even better in the second half when Glen Sani gave us the lead after 59 minutes. You wouldn't have known that we were playing with 10 men, such was the valiant display from the team.
Unfortunately Silsden pegged us back after 71 minutes to make it 1 a piece, and the points were shared come the final whistle. A great point in adversity against one of our promotion rivals, which keeps us 4th in the table.
