The Beavers made it 4 wins in the last 5 league matches to continue our good run, with this hard fought win over a battling Bottesford Town at Norwood.
The first half ended goalless despite a few chances for both sides. The Beavers came closest, hitting the woodwork a couple of times, but unable to make the all-important first goal breakthrough.
The 337 crowd didn't have to wait too long in the second half for the goals to come. Cam Connelly getting our noses in front 8 minutes after the restart, only for us to be pegged back by Bottesford 8 minutes later in the 61st minute.
Then Alex Markham, with his first goal for the Club, got what turned out to be the winner 16 minutes from time. A bit of a scrappy win at home, but a win is a win, and it maintains our really positive momentum and our 7th position in the league.
