Well, it was tense afternoon of football, but The Beavers got the all-important result to secure our place in the Play Off Semi Finals. We couldn't have left it much later though, with Luka Suluburic getting the only goal of the game in the dying minutes.
As it happens, with the way results were going elsewhere, a draw would have been enough. But we weren't to know that, and the lads, cheered on by the superb travelling fans, made sure of it with our 6th away win of the season.
What a first season at this level it's been for the Club. And now we have a massive week coming up, starting off with a League Cup Semi Final tie at Norwood against NCEL Premier Division Champions Silsden AFC on Tuesday night, followed by our Play Off Semi Final away at Golcar United on Saturday.
It was a win at home againat Golcar back in September that really kick started our season. Golcar then got the better of us in the return fixture a few weeks ago. So with a win apiece this season, the Play Off Semi Final is nicely balanced.
Two big performances this week from The Beavers and things will be getting very exciting indeed!
