Result: Beverley Town 3 - 1 Louth Town

Bev Town made it 8 matches unbeaten in all competitions with a hard fought win against a stubborn Louth team.

Things didn't quite go to plan from kick off, with us conceding a goal in the 1st minute. But the lads quickly regained their composure and started to dominate play for much of the first half. A sweet Nathan Ofori strike after 14 minutes made sure we went in all square at the break.

The second half was pretty comfortable for Town, with Louth threatening infrequently. Scott Phillips grabbed his 11th goal of the season and Olly Baldwin slotted home our 3rd in stoppage time to make sure of all 3 points.

Man of the Match went to Olly Baldwin, nominated by match day and match ball sponsor Polly's Cafe and Tea Room.

The win keeps us in 2nd place, now just 2 points behind leaders Wombwell Town and with a game in hand.
